Support
Need help with Diastola? Email support@diastola.com. We usually reply within 2 business days.
Diastola cannot help in a medical emergency. If you or someone you care for feels unwell, contact a doctor. In an emergency, call 911.
Readings
How do I bring in readings from my cuff?
Most cuff apps (Omron, Withings, iHealth and others) can save readings to Apple Health. Turn that on in your cuff’s app, then allow Diastola to read Apple Health. You can always type the numbers instead.
Why does the app say “Check the numbers”?
The numbers look unusual for a reading, for example if a digit is missing. Check them against your cuff. You can still save.
Reminders
I am not getting reminders.
Open the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, then Diastola, and turn on Allow Notifications. Check that a Focus mode is not silencing them. You can send a test reminder from inside the app.
I travel to another time zone.
With “Keep the clock time” on, an 8:00 AM dose stays at 8:00 AM local time wherever you are. Turn it off to keep the time of your home time zone.
Family
When does family get an alert?
Only when a dose has no answer after the delay you chose: 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. A dose marked taken or skipped sends nothing.
Subscriptions
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Open the plan screen in Diastola and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Diastola → Cancel Subscription. You keep the subscription until the end of the period you paid for, and your history is not deleted.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
